3 combine the MiFi and the Ipod Touch in One package

In September 3UK launched the MiFi, their re-badged version of the Huawei E5830, a truly portable device that provides  wifi access to their Mobile 3g network.

This allows any device that can connect to Wifi hotspots access to mobile broadband, in a slightly more portable way then the t-mobile wifi router.

Everyone saw the potential benefits from this, including the ability to connect Internet enabled media devices like Netbooks or Ipod’s to the web whilst away from a fixed base. To support this 3 have launched a new pay monthly package, which combines their MiFi unit with the Ipod Touch.

For £23 a month on a 24 month contract, you get a MiFi unit with 5Gb of Internet access along with an 8Gb Ipod touch.

It sounds like a great idea especially with christmas around the corner.
