Facebook available for Xbox360 and coming soon for PS3

fbThe Autumn update to the Xbox360 Dashboard is now available, and one of the additions to the functionality is Facebook which can be found in the community section.

There is the ability to merge your facebook friends list with your Xbox Live contact list, but be aware the Xbox live friends limit of 100 people still applies.

It’s also been announced by Sony that the next version of the PS3 firmware (version 3.10 – due soon) will come with Facebook included.

Social Networking is quickly becoming a major part of everyday life.

Civilization is coming to FaceBook

fbLegendary Civ creator Sid Meier has confirmed that a version of Civilization will be launched on the popular social networking site Facebook.

The Facebook version of the game will put a focus on co-operative gameplay, allowing users to form teams and alliances with other online players.

Players wishing to take part in a closed beta can sign up through it’s official Facebook site.
